Question : Problem: Samsung v25 Notebook and External Monitor

Hi,

I have a Samsung v25 Notebook which functions perfectly well. However, when i plug an external monitor into the Video Out ( Or whatever it is called) everything slows right down and the PC becomes pretty much unusuable.

Do you think this is a hardware issue or do you think it may be a drive issue?

It sounds like a fault causing a power draw..

Need to determine if it's the video function in the laptop or the monitor you are using.

Try using a different ext. monitor and see if the situation changes.

Also if the ext. monitor is set to a huge resolution and the laptop doesn't have enough video memory that could be slowing things down.
