Question : Problem: Linksys SD2005 slow
My company has a few offices that are shared by several people. I have been using Linksys SD2005 switches in these offices and recently they started functioning at very slow speeds. If I plug directly into the ethernet jack on the wall - I get regular, fast throughput. Howvere, If I plug the SD2005 into the ethernet jack and then a PC into the SD2005 - it's barely better than dial up. I have tried different cables and different computers to no avail. Any ideas?
Answer : Problem: Linksys SD2005 slow
Sounds like a possible duplex issue. I would make sure that everything that can be coded for full-duplex gets configured for full-duplex.
