I am running windows vista business service pack 2. My IP is high speed cable modem. How do I connect to my remote office Microsoft small business server using airport extreme wireless router.  I can connect directly from my cable modem without a problem.

Check that you have VPN Passthrough enabled on your router. Some kind of firewall could be blocking also the access to the server, try making rules to allow connections to it.
