Question : Problem: Updating Wireless Lan Driver for LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI on T41p

I am trying to update the wireless driver. The update works successfully, but after the reboot, I am not able to connect to my wireless LAN.  The ThinkVantage Access Connection failson "Waiting for Association"  I verified all the wireless options and they are all correct. So, I rolled back to the previous driver and the wireless connection started working again.

I also tried disabling and re-enabling the adapter as well as removing the adapter to no avail.

The previous driver version was 1.2.1.11 the latest version is 1.2.4.41 which I obtained from this link:.http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-59438

My ThinkVantage Access Connections version number is 4.11.   I also installed the Hotkey Features software per the recommendation.
My T41p laptop uses Windows XP SP3.
Does anyone know what I need to change to make the new driver work?

Is there a reason to update with the older driver working already? You could could try something like DriverMax (http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/) and see if it can give you an updated driver.
