Uninstall the current L5780 software (scanning and printing software from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel). Delete the printer from within Printers and Faxes.
Shut down the workstation.
Disconnect the printer.
Restart the workstation.
Download and run CCleaner (
www.ccleaner.com), run both its cleanup function, and its registry cleaner.
Go to the following link and download the latest Full Feature software and driver (this page is for Windows XP, as you stated)
