Question : Problem: No keyboard is being recognized

All of a sudden Windows XP Home, Service Pack 2, doesn't work with any keyboard. I don't have a PS/2 port, I only have USB.

I purchase a new keyboard and connected it to the computer. The computer shows that it detected a new keyboard, and it shows the name brand and model that it is in the process of installing. But when it is finished installing, it doesn't work.

I get a 32 error code in the device manager listed on the keyboard.

I have performed a System Restore. I tried uninstalling the device in Safe Mode. I ran SFC /scannow. I have tried multiple USB ports. Nothing helps.

There are no viruses or spyware on the computer.

Please check out the following link on information for error code 32

Does anybody know that Service could possible have stopped that could be causing this problem?

Answer : Problem: No keyboard is being recognized

I didn't have anymore time to play with the computer to resove the issue so I reinstalled Windows.
