Question : Problem: No keyboard is being recognized
All of a sudden Windows XP Home, Service Pack 2, doesn't work with any keyboard. I don't have a PS/2 port, I only have USB.
I purchase a new keyboard and connected it to the computer. The computer shows that it detected a new keyboard, and it shows the name brand and model that it is in the process of installing. But when it is finished installing, it doesn't work.
I get a 32 error code in the device manager listed on the keyboard.
I have performed a System Restore. I tried uninstalling the device in Safe Mode. I ran SFC /scannow. I have tried multiple USB ports. Nothing helps.
There are no viruses or spyware on the computer.
