Question : Problem: Second Hard drive for laptop
This question surely has been asked but I can't find it here on EE.
I have a laptop that is basically about to die. I do not have a desktop. What I would like to do is to once a new laptop is purchased, either connect the old laptop hard drive as a secondary or somehow connect it to a USB so I can transfer data. Does such a thing exist? I know there are kits where I can attach it to a desktop but since I don't have that as an option, is there some sort of gadget that will let me connect the hard drive to the USB port to access files?
Answer : Problem: Second Hard drive for laptop
there are external hdd cases for the 3.5" hdd drives connects through usb. You can place your old drive within such a case and copy the data in it...
