Question : Problem: Veritas Backup gives exception while backing up deleted sysvol folders
Dear All,
I have Exchange 2003 member server installed in my network, I belive that this server was an Domain controller but it was removed, but when I go to Ntbackup and select system state, I still can see the sysvol folder, Note that sysvol is not in windows\sysvol, but still veritas backup gives exception while taking a registry backup, I noticed that sysvol folder is still there in the registry, If I removed these key , would my veritas backup become fine?
Thanks
Answer : Problem: Veritas Backup gives exception while backing up deleted sysvol folders
Your backups are still running fine. You can restore whatever data is being backed up.
What is the path in the exception
Check the TEXT VIEW of the selection list of the job and delete any entry for SYSVOL from there.
