Question : Problem: Endpoint security for Firepass

I am in the process of configuring endpoint security. We want to restrict users to access Firepass if laptops don't have the latest antivirus update. Then Firepass would redirect these laptops to an internal Antivirus Update Server.  
 
 The only way users can get update is through internal antivirus server.  
 
 Does anyone have experience on this? It would be great if you have documents about this.

it seems that your question can be converted to determining the latest anti-virus update. is it correct?

if yes, it depends on if you can find the related version information from the system registry, folder name, or an API call to the anti-virus program.

you may then execute a piece of Windows Script to detect the information.

so the question is now transferred to what's your anti-virus software? :-)
