Question : Problem: How do you import songs from Ipod to Itunes?

I had a hardrive crash and the only backup of the music in Itunes was on the IPOD.  I would like to transfer and import the songs playlists etc... from the IPOD to the new install of Itunes.

I did follow a link on google that allowed me to copy the library from the IPod but when I import I can only import one song at a time. I am looking for a solution that will allow me to do them in larger groups.

put the files from the ipod under a folder called something - subfolders under it are fine.

In itunes go to file -> add Folder to library , find the folder and let it add.

go to advanced -> consolidate library
