Question : Problem: Should I get an x6 backplane, or a floppy drive?

I'm ordering a PowerEdge 2950 III and I need to know how important you think a floppy drive would be. I'd be sacrificing 2 drive slots to get it.  Do USB floppies usually work as a substitute for loading floppy raid drivers?

The Dell server assistant provides an easy way to install without needing to provide Windows drivers on floppy.  I don't buy floppy drives anymore.  If a USB one for some odd reason didn't work, I'd just get an internal drive with a cable, open the case up, and use it to get the system running, then remove it.  Odds are, it's the only time you'll ever use a floppy anyway.
