Question : Problem: Cyrix's MediagX 180 MHZ CPU

Hello, experts!
I just bought a powerspec computer that has Cyrix MediagX 180 MHZ CPU.
I was told that this speed is equal to over 200 MHZ of Intel's processors.
How true is it? How would you in short compare this speed to that of Intel's processors?

Answer : Problem: Cyrix's MediagX 180 MHZ CPU

That statement is crap, the cyrix is a bit faster then Intel on integer based apps, but on Floating point apps it has a much worse performace. A computer magazine compared the Media GX 180 "Basically it has about the same perforamce as a intel 120 when it comes to modern applications, games in particular"
