Question : Problem: Restore MS SQL 2000 database on a different server with leave db nonoperational to restore additional transaction logs option

I am restoring a MS SQL 2000 Database on a another server in Enterprise Manager i chossed all tasks/restore database in options tab i selected check box force restore over existing database and in recovery completion state option "Leave database nonoperational but able to restore additional transaction logs" when database restore completed it is showing as database name (Loading) and it did not prompt me to restore my xxxx_Log.LDF file . I wanted to restore this database on another server first XXXX.BAK file and then my XXXX_Log.LDF file so that i have full restore (backup and transaction log.) please out line the process to carry out this restore

After you restore the backup file (with standby or norecovery), you just restore the additional log file...the same way would a backup file...just pick it from the list.
