Is it possible to use an Apple MacBook Pro as the monitor for a Windows XP Based HP Desktop?

I don't think you could do that directly, but if the HP desktop has XP Pro, rather than XP Home, you could turn on RDC on the HP and remotely connect to it from the Mac using the Windows Remote Desktop Client for Mac: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/otherproducts.aspx?pid=remotedesktopclient
