Question : Problem: Can I still use this Power Supply?
So two maybe three years ago I bought this power supply.
It was was highly recommended at the time.
Now I am looking at putting together a new computer.

If I build a component box I would like to use this power supply.
Seasonic SS-500HT Active PFC F3 I do not have the spec sheet and of course Seasonic has brought out newer power supplies so it has no record or information about this model.
It has a 24 pin power and a ton of accessory power plugs. I am not sure what might be required on a new motherboard.
So what "challenges" do I face? Or is it a hopeless cause and throw it away?
Thanks for the help,
Ralph

Here's a review of your power supply:

From the review it appears that the unit has both the 4 pin (ATX) and 8 pin (EPS) 12V connectors required by various motherboards.
From the propsed system specs you listed on your other post the Seasonic is an excellent choice.
However, as Callandor said, it probably wouldn't be able to support dual video cards (or at least large, hot, dual video cards...).
Seasonics have been very reliable for me and usually rank near the top of head-to-head reviews. I have had no problems with any of them (yet).
Keep it!
