Question : Problem: Computer doesnt turn on

I have an HP desktop and it was working fine the other day when i tried to open it yesterday the power switched on but the monitor says no signal received and suddenly the cpu started emitting this beeping sound and then the computer doesnt start anymore. whats wrong and how could i fix this?

Those are POST beeps (Power on Self Test) Depending on your BIOS you can figure out the rpoblem from the pattern of beeps. That fact that you are not getting anything on your screen implies it's either a video card problem or the RAM.
