Currently my phone is syncing the folders I want (Inbox, and two other main folders that are NOT  subfolders of inbox,) but I only get chirped (custom tone) at and new mail message when I get new mail in my inbox.  New mail to the other folders are received when expected, but I don't get a chirp for them nor do they appear as Unread mail on "Today."

Any way I might be able to change that?

What I do is this.  I create a rule for each mail I send to to a folder where it is delievered to the inbox and to the subfolder.
I then delete it from the inbox when read.    Bad part is that you now have the message in multiple places, but I only do this for important mails.
There might be a software add-on to fix this issue, but I have not found one yet.
