Question : Problem: Error mapping a network drive to a server 2003 machine from a dos boot disk
|
|
I am trying to create a dos boot disk that maps a network drive to a server 2003 folder. (I will be using this disk for ghosting.) I have used a program called netboot to make this as it has many network card drivers already built in. However, when the drive maps a message appears that tell me my password is invalid.
I have used a username and password that have access to the shared folder. I have set domain policy for several items as shown below: > Digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data (always) - Disabled > Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) - Disabled > Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always) - Disabled > Network security: LAN Manager authentication level - Send LM & NTLM responses
I have also tried to change the above policies in local group policy but the top two ones are greyed out. (Even though I am logged in as administrator).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Simon

The domain is already written into the logon script. Having said that I have already tried domain\username on top of that to no effect.
