Question : Problem: How to get sysprep to perform SID changes on ghost images of domain computers

I have been trying to get sysprep to perform an SID change on target computers when I push an image out. Usually, when we push images out we have to manually add it to the domain and manually change the name of each imaged computer. What is the easiest possible way to get the sysprep function working. When I go to push the image out, it gets to the sysprep package and fails. Can someone give me a step-by-step guide to enabling Sysprep? ANy helpw ould be greatly appreciated.

Answer : Problem: How to get sysprep to perform SID changes on ghost images of domain computers

SYSPREP the computer.
1.      Remove the computer from domain
2.      Open a CMD window.
3.      CD \sysprep
4.      ipconfig /release  (then unplug from network)
5.      sysprep forceshutdown quiet mini activated  (this starts the sysprep gui)
6.      close the CMD window
7.      use the RESEAL button on the sysprep gui to initiate.
8.      Once the computer has shutdown the system is ready to have the image saved.  Be sure when restarting to have the network boot CD or disk in the drive.
