Question : Problem: Poor performance after update to Backup exec 11d

Updated to latest service pack. Version 11.0 Rev. 7170
Updated Tape driver (Performanced dropped from 1000mb per minute to 40mb per minute)
Tried HP Driver for LTO Ultrium-3 drive Ver: 1.0.5.2
Just as bad... Can't roll back to the old ones (My mistake by installing another one on top of it)

I would like to know where I can get the old Backexec LTO drivers ? Anyone know

Answer : Problem: Poor performance after update to Backup exec 11d

When updating the Backupexec package I highly recommend you update SCSI controller drivers and firmware as this was the source of my problem.

Check:
Tape Drive (Firmware)
Tape Drive (Use the driver provided by Backupexec)
SCSI controller (Firmware/Drivers)
