Question : Problem: Error 1780 on IBM Server X336 - shows error on boot but no error messages in logs

We have an IBM X series server with a pair of SAS drives in a Mirror than shows 1780 drive failure error on startup but no error is in the log.  What action do you suggest?  This is a new server under IBM warranty.   Plese keep in simple, I am a sales type.

If it is under warranty simply call IBM and let them tell you what to do.

It could be a controller or a hard drive issue.
