Question : Problem: Where does ArcServe get its job queue from?
|
|
I have ArcServer 11 and there is an erroneous entry in the Job Queue that I cant get rid of.
I have deleted the corresponding entry from the 00000001.qsd directory and also from the ArcServe database job records section but this entry is stuck in the job queue.
Selecting Delete Job comes up with the "Failed to delete job" message.
Any ideas?

The problem is in the control files for the queue, they still have the record of the corrupt job and there is no way to edit or modify them so just blow away the queue and let it be recreated.
Modify the jobs you want to save. Select SaveAs. Stop the Job Engine. Close the Manager. Make sure no other systems have a Manager open to that install. Delete the 00000001.qsd directory. Bring up the Manager and start the Job Engine. Open and select the saved jobs. Resubmit the jobs back into the queue.
