The entire LCD/Display to my laptop was smashed, obviously stopped working and is now gone (recycled). So now we're left with just the laptop, and no display or anything connected to the hinges.
Is there a way to get an entire LCD/Display replacement for this laptop without going through Dell? They quoted it at about $475, which is over half the cost of a new Latitude D410 interestingly enough.
I see a lot of sites offering screens about about $140 - $250, but are these just the screens to the LCD, or are they supposed to be the entire LCD unit?
Need advise badly!
