Question : Problem: Powervault 220s ?'s

I am rebuilding a Dell PE 2650 that is connected directly to a Powervault 220s via a SCSI cable.

Whenever I rebuild these things the Powervault drives all turn Orange and do not reconnect after rebuilding the Server it was connected to. Does anyone know how to reconnect these drives? And should I shutdown the PE Server and unplug the SCSI cable to the PV before rebuilding the machine?

Dell percs are made primarily by 2 different manufactures LSI and Adaptec, they have different interfaces and recovery options. Without knowing what controller its attached to makes telling you which steps to take difficult and increases the possibility of data loss.
