Question : Problem: Change user on terminal server
Hello everyone. I have a simple question about Terminal Services. I have read on the Internet that when you are deploying applications on a Terminal server you have to type change user /install at the command prompt. My question: I have a server that is not a Terminal Server, but i want to make RDP connections to it. (Standard you are allowed to make 2 connections to a server) Do i have to run the command change user /install on this server before installing applications, or is that not nescessary?
Thanks in advance!
Answer : Problem: Change user on terminal server
You are presumably going to connect the RDP session as a server admin, right?
If so, you don't need to run the command at all - the TS sessions in RDP are admin ones.
Hope this helps you.
