Question : Problem: Corrupted iPod?
|
|
I am receiving the following error when I try to sync my iPod. "iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod"
The iPod also does not show up in the sources menu in iTunes?
I already tried resetting and restoring my iPod. I am not sure what else to try? My wireless internet also stops working as soon as i plug my iPod in, and in order to use my internet I often have 2 restart my computer 2-3 times.

What OS are you using? You may try deleting all the USB controllers. Win My PC>right click>properties>Hardware>Hardware manager>USB controllers expand (click on the [+] sign) and delete ALL of the USB references. Select your computer, first icon on the image, form the menu Action search for hardware changes. Or you may check if ITunes has Internet privileges and is not blocked y a firewall.
