My mac crashed and I have a mac format ipod.  My ipod is the only place where I have my music.  I would like to transer my music to a winidows based pc and then reformat my ipod to windows.

If you have an iPod, not iTouch or iPhone you can try this.

Install the software connect the iPod and try to access it has a HD.
If you succed you can copy the contens from the iPod to the PC
