Question : Problem: iPod Not Detected

Hello,

When I plug my iPod into my laptop with iTunes open, iTunes no longer detects my iPod (starting today).  Any ideas?

Answer : Problem: iPod Not Detected

a few things to check:

-is the iPod not recognized on all USB ports? or just on one?
-are the USB ports working for other devices, such as a thumbdrive?
-can you see the iPod's *disk* (even when you can't see the iPod in iTunes)?
-is the problem still there after rebooting the PC?
