Question : Problem: Restore Exch2003 public folders into Exch2007.

We are recovering from a technically challenged Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 migration.  One of the last pieces we have to recover is the contents of out Ex2003 public folders.

The old Exch2003 server is gone, and the new Exch2007 s running.  The new Exch2007 server has an empty public folder, and all of our old Exch2003 public folders are available to us through Backup Exec 10d.

When can restore at the brick level, and we ALSO have the public folders as an EDB file.  Now the hard part:

How can we restore/recover the old public folder contents into the new Exch2007 ?

Answer : Problem: Restore Exch2003 public folders into Exch2007.

Considering the background, the permissions might not be correct. Try using a domain admin account.
Once the folder is created permissions are modified on the Properties of the folder through Outlook.
