Question : Problem: Is 2 Gigs of RAM enough?

I recently made a huge Video Card upgrade from my 7950gt to SLI-8600GT's.  I currently have 2 gigs of sata memory in my system with amdx2 2.4 processors. i saw on newegg.com that they have a combo deal for the same card i got but it comes with 2 gigs of ddr2 ram. the ram is not the same brand name but it is the same speed and everything. would i have trouble if i sent one of these cards back, and got the combo deal? can i run 2 gigs of different brand names in my system. do you think 2 gigs of the ddr2 ram i have now, is enough for gaming today? thanks!

As for the brand name of your memory - yes you can mix brands; just be sure your speed and format are consisten to ensure compatibility.
