Question : Problem: My iPod will not turn on.

My iPod video is having problems being recognized by my computer. It will not show up in iTunes and will not even show up as a hard disk.  I plug it into the wall and it just shows the Apple logo, then lights up and then lights turn off. I have tried resetting the iPod many times and have also let the battery run out many a time. I only started having the issue. After using a program called ephPod.
