Question : Problem: Running Computers on Generator Power
We are a company in Houston without power. We have a generator for building power. Has anyone any experience with running on a generator that the PC's (or building) would require an inverter. We are currently running fine but want to make sure we are not damaging any equipment. Basically one Poweredge Server 1800 on battery backup. 4 workstations, 1 hub.
Thanks
Answer : Problem: Running Computers on Generator Power
When I was in the Air Force we ran our moble operations on generators, so I can give first hand experience this is fine.
Side note: I hope you didn't have too much damage to your home/etc.
