Question : Problem: Maxtor One touch access

Hello,

I am having trouble accessing my Maxtor One touch external hard drive.  Whenever I try to change anything on the drive I get an "access denied" message.  I have tried the "right-click", uncheck the "read-only" box, but this does not work.  There is no security tab when I right click on any of the folders in the Maxtor Hard drive either.  Any suggestions on how to change the access privileges to my external hard drive.

maybe time to connect the disk to the ide cable directly, and see what gives.
