Question : Problem: Tempreture guildelines for PC components

Does someone know of any temperature guild lines for PC components.

For example I am trying to find out about what temperatures for both my current Intel Core 2 Duo E6420, 2133 MHz (8 x 267) and the planned Intel Core 2 E8400 for purchase during idle and intensive sessions (gaming for example) are considered normal and what thresholds to watch out for. I am seeking seeking similar information for other components like my XFX Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB

Generally i would say for idle you are looking mid 40's C. Better cooling with obviously bring it down a bit.

When running, they probably run mid 50's. Under load, you will see it creep up above that, but then it is starting to get way to hot.

 anything over 60 is worrying or unstable, depending on the system..
