Question : Problem: Vista & Colours
|
|
Hi All,
Has anyone had any problems with Vista and Colours within Windows Photo Gallery Viewer?
For some reason, all my pictures or images viewed within the above program get covered in a sort of sepia tint. Everything else on my monitor (webpages, videos, word documents) appear as they should - crystal clear.. White is White..
Anyone have any ideas? I'm currently using 'Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM' as my default colour (ICC) profile. Even if I change it to the 'norm' profile (sRGB IEC61966-2.1) - It makes no difference.
Will attach a screen-dump example shortly.. http://www.ee-stuff.com/Expert/Upload/getFile.php?fid=5763

Once the color exposure has changed it - the Photo program will continue to apply it to every picture you look at.
- Open up a picture - choose FIX from menu - Click on AUTO ADJUST
If that does not work you may first to - Open picture - Choose FILE - Choose REVERT TO ORIGINAL - Say yes to the confirmation prompt - Wait a few seconds.
- If REVERT TO ORIGINAL is greyed out - do some changes in the fix manu - close and reopen the program and picture and repeat the Revert steps.
- I would make any changes after that. The windows program is buggy or poorly designed. Its a simple viewer is all.
