Question : Problem: BlackBerry Server & Email Sync

Hello,

 One of my users like a lot of others is utilizing the BES Server we have here. The one user in particular is having an issue with deleting messages off his BB and then them not being deleted from Outlook. Bidirectional sync is setup; other users are not having this issue. In the BB Manager on the server next to his name it does NOT say that he is "Up to Date" any suggestions as to why he would be out of date or not able to delete and have this reflect on his outlook or vice versa? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the user is using subfolders on the blackberry. The answer to the question is all you need to do is hide filed messages.  Go into Message > Options > and change "hide filed messages" to YES.

If no joy with that, the next step would be to resend the service book to the BB device from the handheld.  If no joy, delete the service book entries from the BB and resend the service book again.  It may take up to 20 minutes between resend to see the results.
