Question : Problem: Cannot scan using HP C4480 all in one printer

I am trying to fix my fiancee's dad's HP C4480. It will not scan to the PC because the HP Solution Center (where the scan functionality is located) was an older version. I have uninstalled this application but then I cannot find out where I can download the solution center. When i put the disc in, it says that I've already updated to a newer version and then I have to close the CD software setup. How do I make this scanner work with his pc. Thanks.
