Question : Problem: need help with ATI rage pro

I have a diamond micronics C400 PII mother board. when I put my ATI rage Pro Card Into The AGP slot I get the famous 3 beeps of no video. when I put a normal 2D card in the computer works fine.
specs are as follows;
1 quantum bigfoot 8.4 gig hard drive
1 WD 4 gig
128 megs ram
pent 400
Built Buy My me

if you were woundering, I own a computer company called FrontLine Productions and am currently very good with hard ware; nonetheless this has my brain dumb founded.

i have to be over looking somthing thats all i can see.


i will give some one 150 more points if they will tell me why the above machine locks every once and a while (so far i have only used "shut down" once( the computer was up on may 12))

     ok here's the deal:
     the video card works, i just pulled the jumper to disable ewa (i think thats it)
     and now it works

     the locking problem was solved by flashing the bios from 1.05 to 1.06
