Question : Problem: how to tighten my laptop monitor

on my compaq presario 1500us laptop which is out of warranty. When I open my laptop to turn it on an lift up the monitor, in doing so, it is loose even though it will hold the position I move it in , It was not this loose when I first brought the computer. Can someone please tell me how I can tighten up the support bolts that hold it in place.

Answer : Problem: how to tighten my laptop monitor

It depends on the model. I don't know about this one but there are some that have a bolt that can be adjusted by tightening the bolt nut. However, to do this you have to open it, in fact the frame on the display has to be removed. How easy this can be removed also depends on the model.
So , if you dare opening it, you have a big chance to fix that anoying flip  ;-)
