Question : Problem: Installing Dell miniPCI 1350 in Latitude C400

I have a Dell Latitude C400. It came with a miniPCI 1150 wireless module, but that only supported 802.11B and WEP. I gambled that, although not listed by Dell as supported, the newer miniPCI 1350 would work in the C400. Sure enough, I swapped the 1150 with the 1350 and it does work - - except . . . the software installer doesn't want to run on the C400. It exists with a message that it is not supported on this system. I can manually install the driver to get the card working and it seems to work fine. I cannot figure out how to trick the installer to run through and install the wireless utility. Does anyone have an idea how to get it to run?

Thanks,
Stan
