Question : Problem: Audion Driver and upodates not loading

When starting up I get this message:
This version of Intel Audio Studio does not support the board detected. For a list of boards supported by the upgrade version of Intel Audio Studio, please refer to http://www.intel.com/motherboard
The obvious result is that there is no sound: Have downloaded the latest drivers from Intel, no change.

Also, no MS updates will load. Not sure if this is related.
I loaded Service pack 3 but this made no difference although a lot of outstanding updates loaded with the SP#. But there are some new ones and it gives the same message.
I have scanned fro Spyware, virus's, Registry fixes and the like, but it makes no fifference.
The board is an Intel DQ35JO with XP Pro. BIOS has been updated.

The second link above was posted as confirmation that the DQ35JO board is *not* supported for Intel® Audio Studio. This is why the page "does not list DQ35JO."
