Question : Problem: SLI Problems
hello all. I recently had problems with my SLI. I have 2 nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS. My POST gave me the blank screen with the blinking cursor at the top left of the screen until I removed my 2nd vcard. Everything works fine now, but I want SLI back without the whole POST problems with the screen. How am I to go about doing this? Update the BIOS? Also, when my computer boots up and goes into BIOS, my first video card displays all of this but when I get to the welcome screen, my screen goes blank and I have to switch my display adapter to the other video card to view my desktop. How do I fix this so everything is shown using one video card, but connected as SLI?
Any ideas would help. Thanks

Make sure your power supply is enough to handle an SLI setup and that you have connected the two cards with an SLI bridge. Here's a guide to putting together an SLI system:
