Question : Problem: How to assign media to existing media pool

I have Brightstor 11.1 and I have a media pool with 12 tapes in it. The media pool uses a custom rotation so Brightstor named the tapes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc.  Now I want to add a few additional tapes, but I need to format them first as they have data on them from a different server. When I go to format them it asks me to name the tape. How do I make brightstor assign the new media and name the tape?

Try a Quick Erase Plus.. this will remove the Label off the tapes..

Leave these blank media in the library.. when there job spans to additional media.. it would format these tapes automatically with the correct nomenclature..
