Question : Problem: Creative driver doesn't work with webcam

I am trying to install a Creative Webcam PD1170 on a Lenovo X41 tablet. I have downloaded what looks to be the correct Creative driver, 01_01_02, but the notebook will not accept this as the correct driver. I've also tried a few other Creative drivers with later release dates, but these don't work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Answer : Problem: Creative driver doesn't work with webcam

I did try updating the drivers, thanks. The OS is WinXP, with all latest patches (except SP3), USB drivers are updated.

I finally abandoned my attempts and upgraded to a logitech webcam with sound, which works fine. I will eventually try to use the Creative webcam with another laptop and see if it works there (perhaps just a conflict with other software on the X41?).
