Question : Problem: restore WindowsImageBackup to xp Professional
My machine crashed, but I have a backup that was done the day before in WindowsImageBackup that is a complete backup on an external drive. I want to restore all of the files to an xp Professional system. Is there software to restore it, or can I expand the twenty zip files that it created to recreate my system? If I do expand these files will it recreate my system so I can pull off important files?
Thanks for your assistance
Answer : Problem: restore WindowsImageBackup to xp Professional
They might be just standard zip files. Yes, try extracting all 20 of them manually and see if all your data files are accounted for.
