Question : Problem: internet explorer 7freezes on xp pro, and computer will  not restart, windows media player 11 freezes , nero burner freezes after burning a disc and going straight to burning another disc

i had my hard drive replaced 1 month ago with a samsung hd403lj (400gb) my last one was faulty.
i also had my dvd drive replaced which is a lite-on dvdrw lh-20aip scsi  my last one was faulty also.

thats what happens when you buy from u-mart.... lucky i got the 3year warranty
my processor is : intel core 2 6600 @ 2.40Ghz
i have 2 gig of ram which is Geil 2x  1gb sticks
asus p5b deluxe motherboard
xfx ge-force 8800 with 640mb of ram
PSU is a cooler master 650watt
that pretty much it , ihope this helps i have had the computer about 8 months and have done loads of reinstalls even a new hard drive and still the same problems persist

Any problems installing windows and activating it, it just seems a strange co-incidence that it's only these 3 programs.
A month ago hmm is that like 30 days?
If the product is not activated and regestered properly you get 30 days
Check if it's activated

Then we can ponder what other possible causes.
Whats in your events? Check the errors in event viewer .. applications errors
 to copy one, open the error then  click on the white icon below the down arrow paste here.
