Question : Problem: Ubuntu server putty question

Hi:

I want to have a bigger than 80x25 text screen when i access my linux servers using putty+ssh, this is the first time i try to acomplish this, but since i´m working more and more on the text console, this is becoming important to me, some times i´m editing large cfg files on vi,  and of course it will be easier for me to work with more that 25 horizontal lines, i´m happy with text console, just need more horizontal lines

Any help will be greatly apreciated, thanks in advance
Victor

Answer : Problem: Ubuntu server putty question

Hi,
just configure the putty client accordingly.
When in the Configuration window, select
'Window' at the left and modify 'Columns' and 'Rows'  at the right as you desire.

If working on a saved session, don't forget to click 'Session' at the left and 'Save' at the right when finished.
