I need to configure a notebook to do the standard stuff, office apps, internet, email. But, I also want to the following:
1.) Picture touch up and editing
2.) Work with music, create and produce with programs like Ableton
A couple questions along this line:
1.) What is #1 priority, CPU, more system memory, or more graphics memory? I realize they are all important but given a set number of dollars (biggest bang for the buck), what would be the priorities
2.) Plan to get a Core2Duo, what would be minimum speed
3.) Minimum memory
4.) Minimum graphics memory (would 128 MB work)
