Question : Problem: How to enable the http access on Extreme Alpine Switch?

I have a new extreme alpine 3804 and a summit 300-48 switch, I am not sure on how to set it up/enable the web management on the switch. According to some documents I came across, the command would be to assign an ip address to it on the default vlan. However, I am not able to access the http management, but I am able to telnet into the switch. Can anyone advise? Thanks.
