Question : Problem: CISCO 1601R x.25 debugging
|
|
Hi, I am taking an x.25 feed into a CISCO 1601R serial port and out onto LAN to a XOT server application. It seems to me as if the CISCO is not strong enough for the 3 circuits i am running through it. Every now and then it resets itself or LAPB goes into a BUSY state. How can I go about debugging this or finding out what is causing this ? Is there logs I can inspect. How would one go about tracking this down. There is in fact 6 circuits coming in on the serial port but i have defined only 3 pvc's to xot as i don't need the data on the other 3 circuits. does these unused circuits have a silent adverse affect on the cisco's performance. i know the commands sh interface serial 0 and sh x25 vc and debug x25. the sh interface 0 shows me when the problem occurs LAPB is in BUSY state after the reboot. i cannot use debug x25 to trace it as the volume of data makes the terminal monitor load large which affects the experiment. can someone please direct me how to tackle this. the data rate is 38.4K on the circuits. Thanx
